Pioneer project of hybrid RES power plant in Zero Grid Export formula

With an eye to reduce carbon footprint and because of nine times increase of eletric energy prices, the Investor decided to build RES source which could allow reducing energy costs. However, the developer has faced the largest problem of Polish investors which is

The only solution of this problem was supplying the installation with energy storage with the iMEB EMS. Thanks to our efforts and technologies the whole installation works in Zero Grid Export, which means that produced energy is entirely used by the company and the surplus of energy are stored.

The built photovoltaic farm has a capacity of 5,1 MWp (1,8 MWp in phase I and 3,3 MWp in phase II), while the created battery storage has a capacity of 2,2 MWh and power of 1,5 MVA. The ibvestor plans to expand the farm and install more energy storage.

Meb Group was participating in project from the early concept stage work to the implementation and connection of the battery energy storage. The realization of the investment in the pioneeering Zero Grid Export formula was possible thanks to the close cooperation of our engineering team with the System Operator Tauron.

Ecological Effects

Thanks to the investition ModernHatch significantly reduced its carbon footprint. Expansion of PV farm and energy managment systems support green production while addressing challenges of connection restrictions in Poland.

Future Plans

The company plans to raise the power of produced solar energy, which is part of the dynamic development of the energy storage market in Poland.
