MEB Group has realised project - the largest photovoltaic farm in Opole for one of the leading producers of dairy products in Europe ZOTT. The construction of the photovoltaic farm has brought a number of benefits. ZOTT has strengthened its position as an environmentally responsible leader in the dairy industry. The installation has enabled significant savings in energy bills. The project supports the company's environmental goals reducing its sustainability policy.
Photovoltaic installation
Realised PV installation has power 1,5 MWp and was located on the premises of the ZOTT plant in Opole. It takes 1,2 ha of ground area and 0,8 ha roof area which makes it the largest, after recently realised farm for ECO Opole, photovoltaic installation in Opole. They were both fulfiled by MEB GROUP.
Installation was designed to cover 10% of the plant's electricity needs. Its implementation has significanty contributed to the reduction of CO2 emissions, perfectly in line with ZOTT's strategy for sustainable development.
